Between her short-lived series "The Playboy Club" and being in not one, but two box office duds in 2011, we're going to go-ahead and make the call that Amber Heard is the BOMBshell of the year. Here's hoping 2012 is better for her career-wise.

Per usual, we here at Zap2it like to spend a little time every December recognizing those that fell a bit short during the previous 12 months. Hence, our annual list of the 25 movies whose budgets could probably have been spent more wisely elsewhere.

Here are the rules:

1) Only movies that screened in 2,000 theaters plus qualify. So, there but for the grace of a wider release go "Bucky Larson: Bron to Be a Star," "One Day" and "Country Strong."

2) Only pre-Thanksgiving releases qualify.

Note: If we had extended the list to 26, Heard's "Drive Angry" co-star Nicolas Cage would have also had a double appearance on the list with "Season of the Witch." Then again, that's pretty much what we've come to expect from Cage.
