What to expect for 2012? New movies with old followings (such as "The Dark Knight Rises"), sophomore TV hits (think "Downton Abbey") and familiar music personalities (Nicki Minaj, for one, and Britney Spears, for another) look to make headlines. Fresh franchises such as "The Hunger Games," Showtime's "House of Lies" and NBC's "Smash" will also try to make some noise. And speaking of noise, Ricky Gervais will host the Golden Globes.
