MILL CREEK—
Officer Steve Smith does more than just catch crooks full time for the Mill Creek Police Department.He also helps out as school resource officer at Henry M Jackson High School.
Student Luis Rosales wrote us to say that Officer Smith goes beyond just keeping students safe, he also serves as a mentor to him and his fellow students.
Rosales tells us that this special cop offers up his free time to help students with their senior projects. He says that Officer Smith was even there when his father died.
Rosales now wants to be an cop too. Maybe someday he'll be an All Star just like Officer Steve Smith.
