Last October, 19 armed robberies were committed at pharmacies in eight cities including Seattle. You may remember us featuring the case right here on Washington's Most Wanted four separate times.
The perpetrator in the case demanded OxyContin from pharmacy employees. As this individual became more experienced, his level of violence escalated to where he was committing take-over style robberies armed with a pistol and a crow bar.
When no good tips came in to Crime Stoppers, Officer Poston took matters into his own hands. He questioned drug suspects he came across, relentlessly searching for someone who knew something. His independent search payed off when he identified and affected the arrest of a suspect in the robberies.
This was truly an All Star effort from one of our area's top cops.
