KING COUNTY—
Fugitive who suffers from mental problems takes off from rehab, and hasn't been seen since.Police say he was suffering from a mental disease at the time of the crime, but that doesn't give Joshua Boyovich any excuse for what he did, and frankly makes the public feel even less safe that he's loose on the streets tonight.
He's wanted in King County for breaking probation. That crime itself isn't what has authorities worried, it's that they don't know where he is, but know how violent and volatile he can be - just listen to the scary standoff he pulled on police. "He beat up his girlfriend and held her captive in the apartment for a little bit of time before the police were able to get there. Once she left the apartment, he barricaded himself in - took about a 2 1/2 hour time period to get him out."
And, that's just one time he showed how loose of a cannon he is - checkout the crazy crime where he thought he was fighting terrorists at the airport. "He contacted a cab driver. Asked the cab driver where he was from. When the cab driver told him, he called him a liar and pulled a replica AR-15 machine gun on him. Then proceeded to follow him to SeaTac airport, telling the cab driver he though he was going to blow up the airport, and was protecting it from terrorists."
Yeah, he's definitely mentally unstable, especially when he stops taking his meds, or switches them out with street drugs.
