U.S. Marshals warning those of you heading out to the woods to go camping or hiking this weekend.Joseph Roberts is wanted in Florida, where he's accused of stealing the SUV of a missing woman, and the person of interest in her mysterious disappearance.
The Pacific Northwest Fugitive Apprehension Task Force knows he drove the SUV across the country, and thinks he's here in Washington now - and not hiding like most fugitives - but likely out in the woods somewhere after Marshals say he recently bought camping gear and a tent in Oregon.
Here's a description of the SUV Roberts is accused of stealing from the missing woman:
- 2004 Toyota Rav-4
- Dark Blue
- Florida License Plate: Q66-2NJ
- Know that Florida does NOT require a front plate, so the SUV will only have one in the back
- Age: 26
- Ht: 6'1"
- Wt: 170 lbs
Again, U.S. Marshals say it is VERY important you keep an eye out for this guy if you're heading out into the woods this weekend.
If you spot him, immediately call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS
Police want the public to know that the missing woman's family is offering $25,000 for information leading to Roberts' arrest.
