SAN JOSE -
A Washington's Most Wanted viewer who recognized suspected embezzler Jackie Bowen called police -- and told them where to find her.
Police arrested her at San Jose State University, on a $50,000 warrant.
Police say Bowen has history of using her company's cash for her own fun.
Jackie Bowen was wanted for theft after Stewart Consulting, a Seattle company, reported to police she stole $50,000 while working as the office manager.
David Stewart showed us a whole clip book investigators put together. He says it shows how Bowen ripped off his construction consulting company.
Stewart says he's thrilled and grateful that Bowen was caught.
He says she fixed the accounts so they wouldn't show credit cards she opened, Costco purchases, ATM withdrawals and even gas cards.
Stewart says he found out she was stealing when she went on vacation and he opened some of his companies' bills.
"$50,000 out of my organization here is a lot of money. I'm really the revenue generator in the business, and so, for me to earn 50 grand takes quite a bit of time and effort," he says. "So, yeah I'd hate to think she's able to do that and then pack everything into a U-Haul trailer and move on to another state, which is what she's done."
Jackie Bowen lived in Sammamish, but Stewart suspected the 60 year old was in the San Jose, California area. Now it turns out his suspicion was correct.
Before she worked for Stewart, she was convicted for using another company's credit cards.
One of the keys to her arrest -- local detectives here in the northwest worked long and hard to extend the warrant for her arrest to all 50 states.
