Officer's widow hopes you can help get her special, sentimental African chair back.

Retired Seattle Police Officer Mike Goetz was able to live his retirement dream for a short time.

He and his wife moved to Africa where they owned and operated a Bed and Breakfast.

Officer Goetz was diagnosed with brain cancer and passed away three years into his retirement.

While they were in Africa, they purchased a pair of his and hers hand-carved wooden chairs. Officer Goetz’s wife brought the chairs back from Africa and kept his chair on the front porch as a daily reminder of her husband.

Over the weekend, a thief stole his chair from the porch of her Marysville home. Police are searching for the thief.  If you recognize the chairs in the picture, contact Marysville Police Dept.
