NW32 TV (KRCW-TV, Portland OR) has an immediate opening for for an aggressive and enterprising journalist MMJ who understands how to shoot, write and report a great story. Candidates must be flexible. You will shoot and edit your own stories. However, if the story requires, you may be assigned a photographer, or you may be assigned to shoot with another MMJ. You must respond quickly to any breaking or developing news. Non-linear editing required.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications or related field

Prior Newsroom Experience Preferred

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must possess advanced understanding of legal and ethical issues impacting journalism.
Must be a skilled communicator with ability to connect with a diverse audience
Ability to shoot (P2) and edit (non-linear).
Must be a clear, concise writer and speaker with attention to detail

Ability to multi-task under deadline
Ability to conduct meaningful and interesting interviews
Must possess valid Driver's License.
