NW32 TV (KRCW-TV, Portland, OR) has an immediate opening for an online reporter. This position combines the creativity of a web content producer with the on air engagement of a news reporter. Responsible for creating, posting and updating news material on the station website as well as appearing on-camera during segments of the morning newscast. The successful candidate will be creative, detail-oriented and have the ability to generate editorial content and converse informally about a variety of topics relevant to the morning news audience. Must be familiar with CMS (content management system) platforms and demonstrated experience with fundamental web technologies such as HTML and CSS. Working knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite a plus. The position reports to the Executive Producer and must be available during morning news hours. Local area knowledge preferred.
